Marie has worked as a qualified Registered General Nurse for over 32 years.

Initially specialising in Women’s Health, Marie set up the first Emergency Assessment Unit for Women in North Manchester. She then went on to work in General Practice covering all aspects of Primary Care.

Marie’s latest role was in the Education sector working as a School Nurse in a large Independent school caring for the health and welfare needs of children from the ages of 3 -18yrs. As the Primary First Aider and Safeguarding Lead, Marie was involved in writing and implementing Safeguarding policies and working alongside various support agencies. She provided regular training to staff regarding pupils health issues e.g. Anaphylaxis, Epilepsy, Diabetes and Administration of Medicines and worked closely with families when care plans were required.  Marie successfully led her department through several Inspections gaining ‘Outstanding’ every time.

Marie holds English National Board qualifications in Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice, Women’s Health and Asthma. She also holds a City and Guilds Certificate in Teaching and Assessing in Education.

Marie is passionate about delivering Health, Wellbeing and Safeguarding Education to both children and Adults in educational settings and the workplace.
