The concept

Our extensive and collective experience as sector leaders and inspectors tells us that in order to measure the quality of provision, we need to go beyond inspection related activity to determine the true value of an early years setting. Whilst inspection audits play a significant part of a due diligence process, we have developed a holistic focus that includes additional analysis on leadership and staff ‘human capitol’ in order to determine the true value of a business. This means we will determine a measure or value to those working within a setting at both strategic and operational level across whole organisations and teams.

The team

We have drawn upon the very best and experienced leaders, inspectors and practitioners who are skilled consultants and communicators to evaluate human capitol in the early years. Our team includes experienced inspectors who have worked for Ofsted, including HMI inspectors, inspectors working with the Care Inspectorate and those who have had reputable and long standing, careers in early years leadership. Our consultants also hold significant qualifications in leadership and management at postgraduate levels having studied and applied leadership strategies that are unique to the early years sector in day care, schools and children’s centres.

Biographies of our consultants can be found on our website.

To find out more about our ‘human capitol evaluations’ please contact us via our website or call our office on 0161 447 8823.

Our commitment to clients

Our due diligence activity is delivered in the strictest of confidence with client sensitivity being central to the process. Our consultants are discreet and respectful working to the highest of standards demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and practice.

What customers say about our due diligence work

Early Years Hub provided Apiary Capital with early years due diligence for our investment in Bertram Nursery Group (“Bertram”).

Knowledge and experience of the early years curriculum and framework covering both England and Scotland were important elements of the due diligence exercise. The Early Years Hub team’s work focused on auditing the quality of Bertram’s early years provision, as well as assessing leadership and management practice within the business.

I can recommend the Early Years Hub to others who are engaging in due diligence processes that support potential investment into the childcare sector.
