Aims of the course
Outdoor learning offers children the freedom to explore, use their senses, and be physically active.
Course content includes:
- supporting practitioners in developing an outdoor learning environment that impacts on children’s learning and development through first hand experiences
- developing outdoor provision that ensures children get daily opportunities for physical challenges in their learning and development
- using observation and assessment to plan and resource a challenging outdoor learning environment
- planning for focussed and child initiated learning opportunities in the outdoor environment
Our trainer: Liz Palmer is an experienced Teacher and consultant, manager of the EYFS profile moderation for Bury Council and an enthusiastic and skilled communicator. Liz has extensive working knowledge and experience.
