The course will consider specific and distinct leadership in early years settings taking into account, caring, shared and distributed leadership styles that are essential when developing an effective early years workforce committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
It will exploring leadership models that best promote our work as early years leaders and consider how models such as collaborative, transformational and distributed leadership enable us to achieve successful and effective provision for young children.

This course supports all areas within the Early Years Foundation Stage (2017). It references all judgment areas, particularly ‘Leadership and Management’ of the Common Inspection Framework (2015).
